                   NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES

The following disclosures of material interests in shares under sections 198 -
220 of the Companies Act 1985 were recently made to Anite Group plc ('the
Company').

Hermes Focus Asset Management Limited and Hermes SLP Limited disclosed an
interest in 17,582,410 ordinary shares representing 5.003% of the Company's
issued share capital and held as follows:

ordinary shares representing 5.003% of the Company's issued share capital and
