ANITE GROUP PLC ('ANITE')
Trading Statement
Anite Group plc, the IT systems consultancy, today made
the following statement on current trading conditions:
'When we last commented on current trading at the time of
the Annual General Meeting in August the Group was
performing well in growth markets and was confident of a
year of further good growth.
Since then, the Group's businesses have continued to
trade strongly, with the exception of the IT personnel
business which has slowed ahead of the new Millennium.
The spread and balance of Anite's operations enables it
to be well positioned to benefit from further business
opportunities in the second half of the financial year.
Interim results for the six months ended 31 October 1999,
due to be announced in early to mid January 2000, will
show further consistent progress by the Group. The Board
therefore remains confident of continued strong
performance by the Group for the year as a whole.
