Announcement of Final Dividend

The Board of Asia Dragon Trust plc (the "Company") has today declared a final dividend in respect of the year ended 31 August 2023 of 6.6p net (2022: 6.5p). The final dividend, if approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held on 7 December 2023, will be paid on 15 December 2023 to Ordinary shareholders on the register on 27 October 2023, ex dividend date 26 October 2023.

The final dividend has been announced earlier than in prior years in order to ensure that the record date is in advance of the calculation date for the proposed combination of the Company's assets with those of abrdn New Dawn Investment Trust plc announced on 22 September 2023 (the "Scheme"). For the avoidance of doubt, the new shares to be issued in connection with the Scheme will not be eligible to receive the final dividend.
