ASOS was advised on 4 July 2005 that Fidelity International Limited had disposed
of 313,600 ordinary shares in the Company and now holds a total of 4,842,900
ordinary shares, which represent 6.75 per cent. of the entire issued share
capital of the Company.

Of the total shareholding notified, 4,716,200 ordinary shares are held in the
name of JP Morgan, Bournemouth and 126,700 ordinary shares are held in the name
of Clydesdale Bank plc.
