Frank Flynn a director of AssetCo plc disclosed to AssetCo plc this morning that
he purchased 40,250 ordinary shares of 25p in AssetCo plc at a price of £1.91
per share on 19th April 2007 (comprising 0.06% of the issued share capital of
the company). Of the 40,250 shares purchased, 35,000 shares have been purchased
with the intention of transferring 100 ordinary shares of 25p in AssetCo plc to
each of 350 employees employed by subsidiaries of AssetCo plc at no cost to the
employees. None of the employees to whom the shares will be transferred are
applicable employees. Although the 35,000 shares were purchased in Frank Flynn's
name the purchase price of £1.91 per share was paid in equal halves by Frank
Flynn and fellow director John Shannon.
The remaining 5,250 shares have been purchased by Frank Flynn with the intention
of transferring the same at no cost to his father.
Prior to these transactions John Shannon held 26,963,327 shares in AssetCo plc
and Frank Flynn held 7,137,351 shares in AssetCo plc. Their respective
shareholdings will remain unaffected after the completion of these transactions.
