NOTICE OF PRELIMINARY RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2002
Amlin plc, the Lloyd's insurer, will be announcing its preliminary results for
the year ended 31 December 2002 on Thursday 27 March 2003.
During 2002 Amlin raised some £123 million of equity to take full advantage of
very strong insurance market conditions and to assist in acquiring the
outstanding third party capacity on its composite Syndicate 2001. On 23
September 2002 Amlin entered the FTSE 250 index and has a current market
capitalisation of approximately £480 million.
An analysts' meeting will be held at 10.00am at Amlin's head office, 10th Floor,
St Helen's, 1 Undershaft, London, EC3A 8ND on Thursday 27 March 2003. Analysts
