Exercise of Warrants

Equatorial Mining & Exploration Plc (''EME or the Company'') announces the exercise of warrants which were granted on 7^th February 2011 at the time the Company was founded.

As a result of the exercise of the warrants, the following shares have been issued at a price of £0.0001 per share:-

The Company now has a total of 2,642,406,671 ordinary shares of £0.0001 in issue.
