ATHELNEY TRUST PLC (the 'Company')
DIRECTORS' SHAREHOLDINGS
The Company announces that it was notified on 26 September 2006 of the revised
holdings of Robin Boyle and Hugo Deschampsneufs in the Company as follows:

The revised holdings are following the reorganisation of the pension fund
interests of Hugo Deschampsneufs (Chairman of the Company) and Robin Boyle
(Managing Director of the Company) on the 18 September 2006. The assets have
now been transferred for no consideration from a co-mingled pension plan to
individual Self-Invested Personal Pensions.
The holding of Mr. Deschampsneufs now includes 19,163 ordinary shares held in
his Self-Invested Personal Pension and the holding of Mr. Boyle now includes
16,970 ordinary shares held in his Self-Invested Personal Pension.
