ATHELNEY TRUST PLC (the 'Company')
DIRECTORS' SHAREHOLDINGS
The Company announces that it was advised that, on 26 November 2001, the
Managing Director, Mr Robin Boyle, purchased 95,000 (5.27%) Ordinary Shares of
25 pence at a price of 80 pence per share. The shares will be held in the
name of Trehellas House Limited, a company owned by Mr. Boyle and his
daughter.
The shares were previously held jointly by Mr Richard Ellert, a director of
the Company, and another in their capacity of Trustees of the NHP Plc pension
fund, a fund in which Mr Ellert has an interest.
Following this transaction Mr. Boyle's beneficial interest in the issued
ordinary share capital of the Company is 356,000 (19.75%) ordinary shares.
The above figures include a holding of 58,000 shares owned by a pension fund
in which Mr. R. G. Boyle and the Chairman, Mr. H.B. Deschampsneufs, have an
interest. Mr Ellert's holding falls to 3,300 (0.18%) ordinary shares.
