AWARD OF CONTRACTS



Manpower Software plc is pleased to announce the sale of its MAPS Crew Manning
software to Carnival Cruise Lines ('Carnival'), the largest division of
Carnival Corporation, the world's leading cruise shipping company.  The value
of the contract is approximately $2 million.  The Company's software will be
utilised across Carnival's fleet, which currently consists of 14 ships
employing 20,000 crew.



With this order from Carnival, Manpower Software's products will be in use by
the world's three largest cruise shipping lines: Carnival, Royal Caribbean
Cruise Lines and P&O Princess.



Manpower Software has also recently achieved the second sale of its CRESTA
software for use within MEDMIS, the management information system used by the
UK Ministry of Defence's HQ Medical Group to staff and manage field hospitals
across the Army Medical Services Territorial Army.  The MEDMIS sale follows
the successful completion of acceptance trials of the product previously sold
to the Royal Engineers TA.  The new order comes shortly after the CRESTA
programme was favourably mentioned in a Report* by the House of Commons Select
Committee on Defence in response to questions concerning the readiness of the
Territorial Army to carry out its objectives.



Despite the effect on the timing of orders from the cruise industry due to the
atrocities of 11 September, foreseen in the announcement issued by the Company
on 8 October 2001, current levels of business opportunity in this market and
elsewhere remain strong.   The Company has increased its expenditure in sales,
marketing and in the ability to deliver products.  As a result, the Company is
well placed to exploit all opportunities such as these new contracts.
