DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Auto Trader Group plc (LSE: AUTO, "Auto Trader" or the "Company") the UK's largest digital automotive marketplace, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeni Mundy as an Independent Non-Executive Director from 1 March 2016. Jeni will also join the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

Jeni is the Enterprise Product Management Director for Vodafone Group and is responsible for the strategy, delivery and lifecycle management of the Group's product portfolio worldwide.  Jeni started her career as a Radio Engineer with BellSouth in New Zealand before joining Vodafone in 1998. Her roles for the Group have included five years as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in New Zealand managing IT and the mobile network, five years as the Vodafone UK CTO, and a year leading the Northern Europe Sales team for multi-national customers.

Following Jeni's appointment, the Board will comprise four Independent Non-Executive Directors, two Non-Executive Directors, two Executive Directors and the Non-Executive Chairman.  The composition of the Board will therefore be compliant with the provision of the UK Corporate Governance Code that at least half the Board (excluding the Chairman) should be independent.
