TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

 

 

Auto Trader Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 25 July 2016 it purchased through Numis Securities Ltd the following number of its ordinary shares for cancellation at an average price of 349.83p per share:

 

Number of ordinary shares purchased:                                                          255,000

Highest purchase price paid per share:                                                         351.10p

Lowest purchase price paid per share:                                                          347.30p

 

Following the above transaction, the Company has 1,000,374,699 ordinary shares in issue and holds 4,211,181 ordinary shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 996,163,518 which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Auto Trader Group plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
