Equities Index Unsecured Loan Stock 2013 - Interest Payment

British Empire Securities and General Trust plc announces that the rate of interest (gross of income tax) on its Equities Index Unsecured Loan Stock 2013 for the quarter ended 31 December 2011 is 1.87 pence per unit, equivalent to £18.70 per 1,000 units of stock.

The record date for the payment is 30 December 2011 and the interest will be paid on 10 January 2012.
