British Empire Securities and General Trust plc announces that the rate of interest (gross of income tax) on its Equities Index Unsecured Loan Stock 2013 for the quarter ended 31 December 2010 is 1.561 pence per unit, equivalent to £15.61 per 1,000 units of stock.

The record date for the payment is 31 December 2010 and the interest will be paid on 10 January 2011.
