Buy-back of own securities

The Company announces that it today bought back 1,260,000 Ordinary shares of 10p each in the capital of the Company (SEDOL: 0133508 / ISIN: GB0001335081), representing approximately 0.78% of the issued Ordinary share capital, at a price of 491.00 pence per Ordinary share.  The Ordinary shares bought back will be placed in treasury.

As a result of the above transaction the Ordinary shares in issue, shares held in treasury, and the Total Voting Rights of the Company are now as follows:

Number of Ordinary Shares in issue	160,014,089
Number of Ordinary Shares held in treasury	5,048,051
Total Voting Rights attaching to Ordinary Shares in issue	154,966,038
