Avingtrans plc ('the Company') is today pleased to announce that the High Court
of Justice Chancery Division approved the Capital Reconstruction of the Company,
which was announced on 20 June 2003 and approved by shareholders at the
Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company on 17 July 2003.


The Company will announce its preliminary results for the year to 31 May 2003 on
9 September 2003.
