The executive directors and persons discharging managerial responsibility
(PDMRs) of Aviva plc have received the following awards of shares under the
Aviva Annual Bonus Plan 2005 and the Aviva Long Term Incentive Plan 2005.
Vesting of the awards made under the Aviva Long Term Incentive Plan 2005 is
subject to performance conditions.  Consequently, the interests of the executive
directors and PDMRs in Aviva plc ordinary shares have increased accordingly.
