LETTER TO RNS
I am writing to advise that the Company has today been notified of a number of
transactions in respect of the share interests of Philip Johnson Twyman, a
director of CGNU plc. The transactions were carried out on 26 April 2002 and the
details are as follows:
1,455 shares previously held in Mr Twyman's name sold at a price of 714.63p per
share.
195 shares purchased for Mrs CR Twyman's General PEP at a price of 714.48p per
share.
250 shares purchased for Mr Twyman's General PEP at a price of 714.48p per
share.
1,010 shares purchased for Mrs CR Twyman's ISA at a price of 714.48p per share.
The result of these transactions is that Mr Twyman's total share interests
remain unchanged at 19,018 ordinary shares of 25p each.
