Aviva PLC
28 June 2005
To: RNS
I am writing to advise that Andrew John Moss, an Executive Director of Aviva plc
acquired a beneficial interest in 976 Aviva shares on 17 May 2005 under the
Company's scrip dividend scheme.
The shareholding on which this dividend was paid is held by an investment
manager on Mr Moss's behalf. Mr Moss had not intended to elect to receive new
shares instead of a cash dividend but, unfortunately, as a result of a
misunderstanding, scrip shares were applied for by the nominee and Mr Moss has
only just been advised of this.
As a result, the total number of Aviva shares in which Mr Moss has a beneficial
interest as at today's date is 21,449 shares.
