Appoints Robert King as a Director


The Board of B.P. Marsh & Partners Plc, a venture capital provider to early
stage financial services businesses (AIM: BPM), is pleased to announce the
appointment of Robert King as Director, with immediate effect.


Robert (aged 28) joined B. P. Marsh in May 2003 having started his career at
PricewaterhouseCoopers where he provided company secretarial support to a large
portfolio of companies. Since joining B. P. Marsh he has taken on responsibility
for the Group's legal, compliance and secretarial functions and played a key
role in the flotation of the Company. In addition he is a non-executive director
of HQB Partners Limited, one of the Group's investee companies, and plays an
active part in the Group's investment process.


Robert is a graduate from the University of Birmingham where he studied Law and
Business Studies. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered
Secretaries and Administrators.


Commenting on the appointment, Brian Marsh OBE, Chairman of B.P. Marsh, said:
