Major New Contracts for Babcock
BMH Division (a division of Babcock International Group PLC)
which operates from 17 companies in 12 countries, has again
secured a number of major orders from Eastern Europe, Germany,
Japan and Scandinavia. These new contracts, won by BMH Marine
(Sweden) and BMH Wood Technology (Finland), have a total
value of over DM 40 million. They include the supply of grain
harbour technology, self-unloading systems for bulk carriers,
and wood handling and processing equipment.
Dr Gernot Schafer, Managing Director of BMH Division said:
'These recently booked contracts for our Scandinavian
subsidiaries once again confirm BMH's leading position in its
market sectors and these more recent orders contribute further
to any already healthy order book'.
