BAE SYSTEMS in venture to create e'commerce exchange


British Aerospace plc (BAE SYSTEMS) has signed a heads of agreement with
aerospace companies  Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon to establish an
e'commerce exchange in conjunction with Commerce One.

It is intended that the signatories to this heads of agreement will form a new
company that will own and operate the web based global aerospace trading
exchange.  The trading exchange will be a secure electronic marketplace where
buyers and sellers around the world can conduct business.

Launch of trading through the new company will commence this summer.
