WITAN PACIFIC INVESTMENT TRUST PLC (the 'Company')

 Listing Rule 15.5.1R - Transactions in a Close Period           

In accordance with Listing Rule 15.5.1R, the Directors of the Company confirm that they are satisfied that all inside information known to the Directors and the Company up to the date of this notice has been notified to a Regulated Information Service ('RIS') and that any further inside information leading up to the announcement of the half year results of the Company for the six months ended 31 July 2014 will be notified to a RIS.

The Company is therefore exempt during the close period from the provisions of the Model Code in respect of dealings by persons discharging managerial responsibilities and purchases of its own securities.

The close period commenced on 1 August 2014 and is expected to end with the publication of the half year results on or before 30 September 2014.
