Appointment of Director
Schroder UK Growth Fund plc is pleased to announce that on 18 June 2001, Mr
Alan Clifton was appointed as a Director of the Company.
Alan Clifton aged 54 was, until last year, the Managing Director of Morley
Fund Management, the asset management arm of CGNU plc. He joined Commercial
Union in 1990 as Managing Director of its investment activities after
completing twenty years with the London stockbroking firm of Kitcat & Aitken.
He is currently Chairman of Henderson European Micro Trust plc and a Director
of The Global Opportunities Trust plc and International Biotechnology Trust
plc. He also serves as a Member of The Lord Chancellor's Strategic Investment
Board.
It is confirmed that there are no details to be disclosed concerning Mr
Clifton under paragraph 6.F.2(b) to (g) of the Listing Rules.
