Company update

Further to the announcement made on 15 March 2013 in relation to the decision of Richard Buxton and Errol Francis to leave Schroders in June 2013, representatives of the Board of Schroder UK Growth Fund plc (the 'Company') have met with Schroders and Richard Buxton and are satisfied with the focus and commitment of the team, led by Richard Buxton and Errol Francis, who will continue running the Company's portfolio until June.  The Board remains very mindful of its duty to protect shareholders' interests and is reviewing the future options for management of the Company's portfolio accordingly.

A further announcement will be made in due course.
