Baring Emerging Europe Trust PLC 26 June 2001 Press Release, 26 June 2001 The Baring Emerging Europe Trust PLC records sixth successive year of outperformance The Baring Emerging Europe Trust PLC, the London Stock Exchange listed investment trust, announced today its preliminary results for the year to 30 April, 2001. Highlights include: * Net asset value per share (diluted) of the fund declined by 25 per cent, compared with a fall of 29 per cent in the BEMI Emerging Europe index.
