The Board of Baronsmead VCT 2 plc announces that on 16 September 2005 the
Company purchased 200,000 ordinary shares of 10p at a price of 102.5p per share.
These shares will be held in Treasury.


Following this purchase there are now 41,038,015 ordinary shares of 10p in
issue. The Company's total listed shares are 41,463,015 ordinary shares of 10p.
