Analyst Site Visit and Rockstar Contract Update

A.G. BARR p.l.c., the soft drinks group, will be hosting a site visit at 10:30am today for analysts at its Cumbernauld Head Office.

The visit will include trade customer visits and presentations from senior management covering the Company's brand and channel development approach.

In addition, an update will be given with regard to the planned investment in further capacity at Milton Keynes, specifically highlighting the decision to fund the freehold development of this site via bank debt rather than via a leasehold solution.  The capital associated with the Milton Keynes development is £41.5m, which will be funded through an additional debt facility of £15m with the balance from internally generated resources.

No new trading information will be disclosed.  The next trading update for A.G. BARR p.l.c. will be the pre-close trading update for the six months to 28 July 2012, to be issued on 27 July 2012.

Rockstar

The Company is pleased to announce the signing of a new extended 15 year franchise agreement with Rockstar Inc.  This amendment to our existing agreement will extend the current contract through to 2024, further cementing the strong relationship between the two companies and highlighting the future growth potential of the Rockstar brand in the U.K.
