                      NOTICE OF INTERIM RESULTS

London and Dublin - Providence Resources P.l.c., the independent  oil
and gas exploration  company, today confirmed  that it will  announce
its Interim  Results for  the  six months  ended  30th June  2006  on
Wednesday, 27th September 2006.

Providence will host a conference call for investors and analysts  at
