Providence Resources P.l.c (the "Company")

                           Issue of Equity

Application has been made for the admission of 10,000,000 new
ordinary shares of nominal value of ¤0.001 each ("Ordinary Shares")
in the share capital of the Company to be admitted to trading on the
AIM market of the London Stock Exchange and the IEX market of the
Irish Stock Exchange. Admission is expected to take place on 16 June
2008.

These Ordinary Shares have been allotted to Macquarie Bank Limited in
settlement of  fees. These  Ordinary Shares rank pari passu in all
respects with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares.
