Changes to Beazley Furlonge Board
Bob Deutsch joins board, Chris London steps down

Bob Deutsch has joined the board of Beazley Furlonge Ltd, the Lloyd's managing agency that forms part of Beazley plc, as a non executive director, the company announced today. The appointment has been approved by the UK's Financial Services Authority.
Mr Deutsch, 52, is a partner at GCP Capital Partners LLC, where he focuses on insurance-related investments. He brings to Beazley a long and rich insurance industry experience, having served most recently as the founding CEO of the Bermuda-based specialty insurer, Ironshore, Inc. Prior to that he served for five years as chief financial officer of CNA Financial Corporation. Between 1987 and 1999 he was CFO and chief actuary, as well as president of the two operating companies, at Executive Risk Inc., a specialist insurer focusing on professional and management liability business that was acquired by The Chubb Corporation in 1999.
Beazley chief executive Andrew Horton said: "Bob's experience and insights will be of enormous value to Beazley as we continue to develop our business globally. He is very familiar with many of our lines of business and with the challenges of building a profitable business in competitive markets."
Mr Horton also paid tribute to Chris London, who is stepping down from the Beazley Furlonge board after three and a half years: "I would like to thank Chris for his contributions to Beazley as a non executive director of our managing agency, particularly in the area of broker relations."
