The Company was notified on 15 June 2016 that, under The Berkeley Group Holdings plc Recruitment Plan  (the "Plan"), the EBT issued shares to the participant of the Plan following the vesting and exercise of an option granted under the Plan as detailed in the table below:

Following the transfer of shares noted above, the EBT's direct interest in the Company's shares decreased to 329,478 representing 0.238% of the Total Voting Rights.
