Big Yellow Group plc ("Company") announces that it was informed today that James
Gibson, a director of the Company, has today bought 20,000 ordinary shares today
at 84 pence per share.  This results in a total beneficial holding by James
Gibson of 1,836,000 ordinary shares in the Company.



The Company also announces that it was informed today that Stephen Homer, a
director of the Company, has bought 3,770 ordinary shares today at 84 pence per
share.  This results in a total beneficial holding by Stephen Homer of 840,000
ordinary shares in the Company.
