Stanelco plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Thomas J Stuart as a
director of its subsidiary, InGel Technologies Limited (InGel).
This appointment is made following the announcement last week of the
collaboration agreement with R.P. Scherer Corporation whereby they acquire,
from Stanelco, a ten percent (10%) equity interest in InGel Technologies
Limited (InGel) for approximately £1.1M.
Tom is president of R.P. Scherer's European operations and has previously held
other senior commercial and operations positions at R.P. Scherer since 1990.
Prior to that Tom was a senior manager with Arthur Andersen & Co. Tom joins
Ian Balchin and Barrie Hozier on the Board of InGel. Ian Balchin is chief
executive and a director of Stanelco plc and Barrie Hozier is finance director
and company secretary of Stanelco plc. It is not anticipated that the
directors will receive any additional remuneration from InGel.
InGel is a company created by Stanelco to commercialise its capsule making
technology.
Scherer is one of the world's premier drug delivery companies and has the
leading global position in the softgel capsule technology. Scherer is part of
the Pharmaceutical Technologies & Services division of Cardinal Health, Inc.
