               Appointment of Director of Business Development


As the next stage of the product commercialisation process, Forbidden
Technologies plc is delighted to announce the appointment of Greg Hirst who
will have a key role within Forbidden Technologies plc as Director of Business
Development. Over his eighteen years in computer software business
development, he has gained considerable expertise in the international arena.

Mr Hirst has held several key positions in computer software companies. For
example, since 1998 he has been a Director and Managing Director of Raft
International, the business software company which floated on the London Stock
Exchange in October 2000. Between 1995 and 1998, he was Business Development
Director of Cap Gemini Finance where he led the introduction of significant
new products.

Since the time of announcing its product launch, Forbidden Technologies has
received a high level of interest from a diverse range of video production
companies, as well as web designers and video content providers. Part of the
business development role is to advance these initial enquiries as part of the
company's broader medium and long term plans.

Greg Hirst commented:

'My belief is that Forbidden's unique video streaming technology could play a
significant part in what will be a rapid shift to high quality video over the
internet. Forbidden is demonstrating that this is now possible with simple
videos over standard 56K modems and ordinary home computers. Moreover, as
connection speeds improve I believe that much of what we view on broadcast
television will take place via the internet.'

Stephen Streater, Chief Executive commented:

'I am very pleased that Greg has agreed to join the team at a time when our
product is attracting considerable attention from potential customers. His
background is ideally suited to this role which requires a great deal of
initiative in helping determine the avenues most suited to the technology of
Forbidden Technologies.'
