Filemobile social media platform adds FORscene

Forbidden Technologies, the owner and developer of the FORscene Cloud video platform, is pleased to announce that Filemobile, the provider of industry leading social media applications, has integrated FORscene into its social media platform and has customized it for universities and colleges. The integrated media platform is called the Academic Media Community.

The Academic Media Community was launched by Filemobile and Formidable Technologies Inc. -FORscene's licensed distributor, at the SUNY Conference on Instructional Technology 2011 held at State University of New York Oneonta campus on May 25, 2011. 

The Academic Media Community is the only platform of its kind that provides personal dashboards for students and teachers to drive a rich media environment for web-based video and audio collaboration, content creation, project development, peer review, enquiry and more. Registered students and teachers access their dashboard through a single-sign on. 

Stephen Streater, CEO of Forbidden Technologies, said; "This next level of integration uses FORscene's new Application Programming Interface (API) to bring FORscene directly into Filemobile's social media environment through the Cloud. The combined solution equips universities and schools with individualised content creators and edit suites for students and faculty. This is a first world-wide."
