Maverick use FORscene for Super Sweet
Forbidden Technologies, the AIM quoted developer of the market leading Cloud video platform FORscene, today announced that Maverick Television, part of All3Media, is using FORscene for the production of a new series of 'My Super Sweet', for broadcast on MTV.
My Super Sweet will have a post-watershed slot and a casting age of up to 21 for the first time. The ob doc series follows the journey of some of the world's most glamorous, extravagant and outrageous birthday celebrations - drinking in the privilege and excesses of some of the world's most aspirational party planners.
'My Super Sweet' was shot using Digibeta. Rushes were digitised locally to Avid storage, before FORscene Load's watch folder technology automatically compressed and uploaded the material. FORscene can be accessed from any location: loggers can add searchable metadata, and producers and directors can review and edit rough cuts with easy to learn tools.
Donna Mulvey-Jones, Head of Facilities at Maverick Television, said:
"We've used FORscene before and the growing technology continues to make life easier. My technical team has found the watch folder integration with Avid storage meant they didn't have to worry about making material available in FORscene. It just happened. All the feedback from the production team has been positive, both from loggers and producers or directors making rough cuts and sync pulls."
Pete Burns, Project Manager at Forbidden Technologies, said:
"We're pleased to be working with Maverick on another production. The growing number of clients benefiting from our watch folder technology enables FORscene to scale with minimal interaction and give clients peace of mind. FORscene is designed for anyone to take advantage of web based centralised workflows."

Notes to Editors
Forbidden Technologies plc
Forbidden Technologies plc (AIM: FBT, www.forbidden.co.uk) floated in February 2000.
The Company develops and markets a powerful internet video platform, FORscene, which is used by broadcasters, in professional web video, in education and by consumers. FORscene is one of the world's most advanced browser-based applications, operating in The Cloud.
FORscene Watch Folder
Each watch folder automatically scans a chosen folder location, based on a time variable, e.g. scans every minute. When it finds new files, it compresses and uploads them automatically into a specified FORscene account. A single FORscene Load computer can now find files from different locations, compress and upload into different FORscene accounts, and this can be run through a single piece of software for multiple clients. Other features include duplication detection and account management controls.
