Blancco Awarded "AA" Rating by MSCI ESG
Blancco Technology Group PLC (AIM: BLTG, "Blancco", the "Company" or the "Group"), the industry standard in data erasure and mobile lifecycle solutions, is pleased to announce that, as of December 2022, the Group received an MSCI ESG Rating of 'AA', an upgrade on the previous rating of 'A'.
In October 2022, Blancco published its third annual ESG Report. The report builds on its Impact narrative and demonstrates the improved management of ESG risk and opportunity through its performance analysis. The reporting also aligns to internationally recognised ESG frameworks, the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
MSCI ESG Research provides MSCI ESG Ratings on global public and a few private companies on a scale of AAA (leader) to CCC (laggard), according to exposure to industry-specific ESG risks and the ability to manage those risks relative to peers. This improved rating represents the Group's positive direction of travel in managing and reporting upon ESG issues material to the business.
