Change of Auditor
Braemar Shipping Services plc (LSE: BMS), a leading international provider of broking, financial, consultancy, technical and logistics services to the shipping, marine, energy, offshore and insurance industries announces that, following a competitive tender process, the Board of the Company has appointed BDO LLP ("BDO") as the Group's new external auditor for the year ending 28 February 2019. The appointment of BDO will be recommended to Braemar's shareholders for approval at the 2019 Annual General Meeting.
The existing auditor, KPMG LLP, has, accordingly, resigned by notice to the Company under section 516 of the Companies Act 2006 and has confirmed that there are no matters connected with it ceasing to hold office that need to be brought to the attention of members or creditors of the Company for the purposes of section 519 of the Companies Act 2006.
