The Company has today been notified that the Braemar Shipping Services plc
Employee Share Option Plan (the 'ESOP') has acquired the following ordinary
shares in the Company:

Accordingly, the ESOP now holds 567,895 ordinary shares in Braemar Shipping
Services plc, representing 2.75 per cent. of the Company's current issued
ordinary share capital.
