Issue of Shares
Braemar, a leading international Shipbroker and provider of expert advice in shipping investment, chartering and risk management announces that application has been made for 253,434 new ordinary shares of 10p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority and to trading on London Stock Exchange's Main Market for listed securities ("Admission"). It is expected Admission will become effective and trading will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 7 February 2023.
The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares of the Company.
The new Ordinary Shares have been allotted as part of the recruitment of Braemar's new tanker broking team based in Madrid, Spain, as announced by the Company on 6 December 2022.
Following Admission and allotment of the shares, the Company's issued share capital will comprise 32,919,252 Ordinary Shares, which figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules. The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.
