New Finance Director for Seascope Shipping Holdings PLC
The Board of Seascope Shipping Holdings PLC ('Seascope'), providers of
specialised broking and consultancy services to the international shipowning,
shipbuilding, oil and offshore industries, is pleased to announce the
appointment of James Kidwell as Finance Director from 1st August 2002. James
Kidwell will replace Derek Walter who will be leaving Seascope at the end of
July to pursue other interests.
James Kidwell is aged 40 and trained as a Chartered Accountant with
PricewaterhouseCoopers. He spent 12 years with Carlton Communications PLC,
leaving them as group financial controller and most recently has been working as
finance director at Boosey & Hawkes Music Publishers Limited.
Alan Marsh, Chief Executive, commented:
'I am pleased to welcome James to our Board in due course and look forward to
working with him. We thank Derek most warmly for his contribution to Seascope's
development, especially during the period of the Seascope Braemar merger and we
wish him well for the future.'
Seascope confirms that there are no other details which require to be disclosed
under Rule 16.4 of the UKLA Listing Rules with respect to James Kidwell.
