BPT ACQUIRES VICTORIA COURT
BPT plc announces that it's wholly owned subsidiary, BPT
(Assured Homes) Limited, has acquired Victoria Court,
Kingsbridge Avenue, Acton, London, W3 from Liverpool Victoria
Friendly Society for a cash consideration of £5.6 million.
Victoria Court comprises an unbroken block of 42 apartments
and ancillary garages. 20 apartments are let on regulated
tenancies with the balance let on assured shorthold tenancies.
Gross rents currently generated total £0.253 million.
In addition, since April 2000, BPT (Assured Homes) Limited has
completed the acquisition of a newly converted block of 18
apartments in Ilkley, West Yorkshire and a development of 16
new houses in Swindon both from Crest Homes; and a new
development of 12 apartments in York from Shepherd Homes.
These new properties have proved very popular with strong
tenant demand since they were released into the market for
letting.
