Matching Share Plan - Award
British Land announces that under the Company's Matching Share Plan ("MSP"), notification was received from the Trustees of The British Land Employee Share Trust (the "Trust") that, on 02 August 2013, the below Directors and PDMRs were conditionally awarded a right to receive a number of ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company, at nil consideration, pursuant to a recommendation of the Company's Remuneration Committee, as shown in the table below.

These awards will conditionally vest on the third anniversary of grant, subject, inter alia, to achievement of the performance conditions and continued employment.
Fund Managers Performance Plan - Award
The Company also announces that, on 02 August 2013, it received notification from the Trustees of the Trust that Nigel Webb, a PDMR, was, on 02 August 2013, conditionally awarded rights at nil consideration to receive 80,133 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company under the Company's Fund Managers Performance Plan ("FMPP"), pursuant to a recommendation of the Company's Remuneration Committee.
This award will conditionally vest, subject to any 'claw-back' and subject to continued employment, in three equal tranches on the first, second and third anniversaries of grant.
Under the rules of the FMPP and the Company's Long-Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP"), the above award resulted in 56,432 performance shares awarded under the LTIP to Nigel Webb, on 14 September 2012, lapsing on 02 August 2013.
Long Term Incentive Plan - Award
The Company also announces that conditional awards of the Company's ordinary shares of 25p each, under the Company's LTIP, were made to Executive Directors and PDMRs on 05 August 2013 as outlined below, pursuant to a recommendation of the Company's Remuneration Committee.
