DIRECTORATE CHANGES



Britvic plc today announces the appointment of Ben Gordon as an independent
Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.  Ben is currently
Chief Executive of Mothercare plc and was formerly Senior Vice President and
Managing Director, Disney Store, Europe and Asia Pacific.  He has also held
senior management positions with WH Smith group in Europe and the USA and
L'Oreal S.A., Paris and has an MBA from INSEAD.



It also announces that Chris Bulmer has decided to step down from her role as an
independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.  Bob Ivell, Senior
Independent Director, will take over from her as Chairman of the Remuneration
Committee.



Commenting on the appointment Gerald Corbett, Chairman, said:



'We are delighted to welcome Ben Gordon to the Board.  He brings further
heavyweight business experience to Britvic and significant Retail know-how.



On behalf of the Board, I would also like to thank Chris Bulmer for her
significant contribution to Britvic since flotation, particularly her efforts in
chairing the Company's Remuneration Committee, and wish her every success for
the future.'



No further details remain to be disclosed for the above appointment as required
under LR 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
