Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority (FSA) and the London Stock Exchange for 309,606 ordinary shares of 32 1/7 pence each in the capital of Bunzl plc to trade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the official list. The shares shall rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company.

These ordinary shares are to be issued as a scrip dividend alternative to receiving the cash amount payable in respect of the 2009 final dividend and dealings are expected to commence on 1 July 2010.
