Following the demerger of Burberry Group plc from GUS plc, which was completed
on 13 December 2005, the following documents will be sent to shareholders by
Wednesday 4 January 2006, not by 23 December 2005 as originally expected:
• Letter, enclosing share certificate and fractional entitlement cheque
(where applicable), to shareholders who have acquired Burberry Group plc
ordinary shares as a result of the demerger from GUS plc
• Letter to existing certificated holders of 2,000 (or fewer) ordinary
shares of Burberry Group plc and with a registered address in the UK,
detailing a share dealing service, including terms and conditions
• Share Sale form in relation to the share dealing service
Two copies of the above documents have been submitted to the UK Listing
Authority, and will be available for inspection at the Document Viewing
Facility, which is situated at:
