We have been advised on the 10th September 2001 by Clerical Medical Investment
Management on behalf of the HALIFAX GROUP PLC that they no longer have a
notifiable interest in the share capital of the company. Their beneficial
interest in the share capital of Caffyns Plc has reduced from 165,000 ordinary
shares to zero ordinary shares.
