Grant of Share Options

Omega announces that on 10 December 2008 the following Directors were granted options over ordinary shares of 4p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares'):

The options have an exercise price of 19 pence per Ordinary Share. The vesting period begins one year after grant and the options will lapse on the tenth anniversary of grant if not exercised.

The options granted to Andrew Shepherd and Kieron Harbinson are under the Omega Diagnostics Group PLC EMI Option Scheme. The options granted to David Evans are under the Omega Diagnostics Group PLC Unapproved Option Scheme.
