The board of Camellia Plc announces that Dr B A Siegfried has been appointed a
non-executive director with effect from 1st August 2006. Dr Siegfried, aged 71,
is a director and honorary chairman of Siegfried Holding AG, a Swiss based
pharmaceutical company in which Camellia Plc has a 32.3% interest through one of
its wholly-owned subsidiaries. Upon his appointment, Dr Siegfried will resign as
a director of Linton Park Plc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Camellia Plc, having
been appointed a director of that company in 1995.
There are no further details to be disclosed under paragraphs 9.6.13(R) of the
Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
